On 29th March, AustAsia Group filed a listing application with Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Of the top ten dairy farm operators in China by the total number of dairy cattle in 2021, AustAsia ranked sixth and was the only dairy farm operator which is not dependent on any shareholders as major customers. In terms of average milk yield per milkable cow, AustAsia has ranked first in China.
In 2021, AustAsia’s revenue was US$149.9 million, of which 83.9% came from the raw milk business, 9.7% from the beef business, and 6.4% from the ancillary business. Its net profit increased from US$74.6 million in 2019 to US$104.6 million in 2021, representing a CAGR of 18.4%.
As of end-2021, AustAsia operated ten dairy farms in China with a total herd size of 106,174 heads of dairy cattle. In 2021, it produced raw milk of approximately 638,800 tons. It also operated two beef feedlots in China with 25,414 heads of beef cattle, 23,762 of which were Holstein beef cattle.
