Haid Group launched three overseas groundbreakings in November—Vinh Long Hailianke Biotechnology Co., Ltd. in Vietnam animal health Haid Agricultural and Technology Ltd. in Nigeria feed and Cambodian Haid Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Technology Co., Ltd. in Cambodia feed—reporting 2024 feed sales of 26.52 Mt (+9%) including 2.36 Mt overseas (+40%) and a 2030 overseas target of 7.20 Mt.
Haid Group is accelerating its international push, breaking ground on 3 projects within a month across Southeast Asia and West Africa.
On November 25, the company’s Animal Health Business Unit held the groundbreaking for its first overseas animal health plant, Vinh Long Hailianke Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Haid says the project extends its globalisation from feed and fry/seed into animal health, a “key breakthrough” toward a complete overseas value chain.

Vietnam: first overseas animal health plant
Once operational, the Vinh Long site will supply aquaculture and livestock–poultry health products, high-end nursery feeds, and soft-pellet lines. The plan includes dedicated R&D for aquaculture and livestock–poultry health, a modelling and technology centre, plus a regional service and talent hub. Haid adds it will follow a localisation strategy, staying close to market needs to drive product innovation and upgrade, and seek “feed–fry/seed–animal health” synergies to support modernisation in aquaculture and livestock production.
Nigeria: westward step in Africa
On November 15, Haid Agricultural and Technology Ltd. broke ground on a feed production base, marking what Haid calls a strategic leap from North Africa to West Africa. Haid entered Africa in 2019 and already operates 2 modern feed mills in Egypt. Nigeria, the continent’s most populous nation, offers substantial agri-livestock potential; the new site will focus on layer, broiler, and fish feeds. Haid notes its Nigeria management team brings nearly a decade of local agri livestock experience, aiming to land the “Haid model” in a fully localised way.

Cambodia: first feed mill in-country
Earlier, on November 11, Cambodian Haid Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Technology Co., Ltd. also held a groundbreaking for its first Cambodian feed plant. Product coverage will span pigs, chickens, ducks, tilapia, snakehead, and pangasius. The Cambodia unit will draw on Haid’s established playbook in Vietnam, offering a full value-chain service model—feed + fry/seed + animal health—to deliver integrated solutions for local producers.

In 2024, Haid’s feed sales rose about 9% to 26.52 million tonnes (t), including roughly 2.10 million t consumed by internal farming, putting the company at No. 1 globally by volume for the first time. Overseas, external feed sales reached 2.36 million t, up about 40% year on year. By 2030, Haid targets 7.20 million t in overseas feed sales.
